Traps for marbled bugs in the house and garden

Man has been making various kinds of traps for living creatures for centuries. But even today, in our civilized times, traps can work. If you find yourself in an extreme situation, get lost, find yourself cut off from the world, you will have to independently take care of food. In this case, a simple fish trap will do. It's easy to make yourself and works 24 hours a day.

You will need

  • Two empty plastic bottles, a knife, an awl, and fishing line.

Instructions

1. Find two one and a half liter plastic bottles, fortunately, there is a lot of such garbage in nature these days. First, cut off the upper part of one bottle, the one that turns into a cone. If you don’t have a knife at hand, you can use a sharp stone, a piece of glass and other similar objects. Unscrew the cap from the cut cone. After that, cut the bottom from another plastic bottle in the same way.

2. After the two parts of the structure are ready, push the smaller part of the bottle into the other part of the 2nd bottle with a cap. You have in your hands an upcoming trap, consisting of 2 sections. Now they need to be fastened together. Along the outer edges of the parts of the bottles, threaded one into the other, make holes with an awl in increments of 2-3 cm. If there is no awl under the stream, a sharp stick or a heated nail will do, one that will melt the plastic.

3. Pass the fishing line through the holes made in the plastic bottles, fastening the two parts of the structure together. If there is no fishing line, you can take laces, any rope, even natural fibers. It is imperative to leave a long end of the fishing line or rope. Now, at this end, you should tie the trap to a bush or stone along the shore. It’s best to set a trap in a cramped place in the river; there are bigger fish there. This adaptation will catch small fish - up to 8 cm in length. In order to get the loot, you need to unscrew the cap of the larger bottle. The fish will fall out.

Traps in the Minecraft universe are needed to catch monsters, mobs, devil-may-care players, griefers and others. They are different, some can kill, others simply allow you to immobilize an object. Let's figure out how to make a trap in Minecraft.

Instructions

1. We implement a sliding floor trap based on sticky pistons and tension sensors. Dig a hole for the sticky pistons as shown in the picture. Place the sticky pistons in the resulting recesses. Place two blocks on the ground above; sensors will be attached to them later.

2. Now take a look at the following image. Here you must attach a scarlet torch to a block of earth on the surface, and place a scarlet repeater nearby. Set its delay correctly as shown in the example. Draw a path of red dust to the sticky pistons. The same thing needs to be done on the other side, for the opposite row of pistons.

3. Next we will deal with tension sensors, place them on the earth blocks from the inside just like in the picture. With thread support, combine them. The distance between two tension sensors must be at least 1 block. Now each circuit is fully operational, the trap can open and close when passing through the sensor threads.

4. In order for the victim to die when falling into a trap, you need to dig a hole under the middle blocks between the pistons and fill it with lava. It is also possible to place cacti, but the first option is still more effective. To open the trap while working with the pit, ask a friend to stand on the tension sensor, or throw any object there, it will perform the same function.

5. We managed to make a trap in Minecraft, but no one will fall into it. Let's fix this by disguising it as a home. Here, examples of images are not necessary, because the process is creative and everyone will want to do something of their own. 6. It is permissible to make such a trap at the entrance to your home for security. But it is allowed in a special place, for hunting. If you create a nice appearance around the entrance, then there will be a lot of victims.

Everyone wants to sleep peacefully. But this does not always happen - daytime anxieties haunt a person in his sleep. North American Indians came up with a dream trap , which is designed to protect a person from crappy dreams and ideas. The Indians used materials for such traps that could be found by everyone in their homeland. The Europeans learned to make such traps from what they had at hand - and the trap works no worse than the Indian one.

You will need

  • Willow rod 60 cm long
  • Cotton threads “iris” or “garus”
  • Beads with a huge hole
  • Large needle with a wide eye
  • Tatting shuttle
  • Feathers
  • Knife

Instructions

1. Cut the willow rod on both sides along the bias so that the ends can be tightly aligned. Keep the rod in boiling water until it becomes elastic. Bend the rod into a ring, bringing the cut edges together so that the thickness of the ring is uniform. Tie the ends of the rod tightly. Dry the ring. 2. Wrap the ring with thread. Thread a fairly long thread through the needle, secure the end of the thread where you joined the ends of the rod, and tie the rod around it. It is more comfortable for everyone to use a tatting shuttle. Wind the thread around the core of the shuttle. Tie the rod with knots resembling a loop stitch. Place the stitches tightly, without gaps. 3. After wrapping the ring, secure the row with a strong knot and begin weaving a web. Mark the circle into 8 parts. This can be done approximately - the main thing is that the parts look equal. You can mark the places where you will tie the thread of the web with knots of a different color, which you will then remove. Bring the thread out of the ring towards you and make a loose loop to the first mark. Wrap the thread in one turn around the first mark and make the same loop to the 2nd mark. In this way, make web loops around each circle. 4. Having reached the end of the row, unwind the thread to approximately the length that you will need for the next row and thread it through a needle with a huge eye. Pass the thread into the middle of the first loop and fasten it correctly in the same way as you did in the first row, simply wrapping one turn around the thread. Thread the thread through the bead. Make another loop and secure it to the middle of the next loop. So, attaching beads to the loops, weave to the end of the row. 5. Make a cord for the one you will make the trap . Attach it to the ring where you secured the ends of the rod. Fold the cord in half to make a loop. Insert the loop into the ring. Place the ends of the cord together and wrap them around the ring into a loop. Correct the cord so that its free edges extend from the ring. Tie the ends of the cord. 6. Hang the trap . Cut several pieces of thread and tie them to the ring. Tie feathers to the free ends of the thread. the finished trap above the bed. Helpful advice: Willow twigs are best cut in winter. Instead of feathers, you can hang bells or tubes from the trap for “wind music.” You can make several traps of different diameters and hang them one below the other.

There are several methods to make an effective ant trap. These insects are extremely resourceful, so gardeners add substances that are harmless to humans, animals and plants to the bait. This guarantees the death of the insects that they want to get rid of.

Combat with ants is a troublesome task that requires a set of measures. Red ants are extremely dangerous and can cause trouble for every inhabitant of a garden plot. Treating insect gathering places with chemicals is unsafe for the soil, so gardeners choose to use homemade devices to catch and destroy them.

Venter, mousetraps, nets, pits

Traps are technical devices made of metal, ropes, branches, and the use of natural features of the terrain to capture a victim or take his life. The object can be either an animal or a person. And for the hunt to be successful, it is necessary to take into account not only the size, but also the habits, lifestyle and disposition of the intended victim. How to make a human trap? Here is a small list of devices that can help in this endeavor:

  • Snares, networks, tenets. Although they are usually used to capture hares and birds, these traps may well detain a potential victim, in our case, a representative of the human race.
  • A bucket of water mounted above a slightly open door is one of the options for a homemade trap.
  • A banana peel thrown at the feet of an attacker will cause him to fall to the floor.

Like in the movies

There are traps that make it impossible to survive if you fall into them. Similar constructions were usually set up during hostilities by partisans in Vietnam. And the hunters of African tribes knew well how to make a trap for a person.

You should always be careful in the forest, as an ordinary anthill can turn into a trap. Moving logs, stones falling from nowhere and other “miracles of engineering” are very colorfully demonstrated in many films, and so clearly that even instructions on how to make a trap for a person are not needed.

However, let’s leave these methods for the movies, and in modern realities simple and safe methods are used. Although. Let us remember the well-known and beloved film “Home Alone”. Not all of the traps prepared by M. Kalkin’s hero can be called safe for health. And of course, they became an unpleasant surprise for the villains. However, we will talk about thieves, or rather about ways to “eliminate” them, a little later, but for now.

Trap two - careerism

The fanatical idea of “building a career” also has some overlap with the first trap. But if in the first case the goal was money, then in the second case the goal is power, fame, influence, and so on. Again, a career as a tool for realizing one’s ideas is quite justified, but if a career becomes an end in itself, it means that a person has fallen into a trap. Such people, as a rule, sacrifice everything else, even their own health, just to get the coveted post. And this is done only because there is a certain suggestion that this or that position will give a person status, power, respect. But it is important to understand that these are all conventions. How many people have you seen who truly respect and love their bosses? Most often this is simply hypocrisy. And such things as prestige and status are just conventional concepts, so to speak, bait for hired workers who are ready to work their butts off to change the sign on their office door.

Gaming and fun net

Of course, traps are not only scary and dangerous, but also playful. How to make a human trap in the house? If you want to entertain the children and the space allows, you can arrange the game “Overcoming laser obstacles.” You need to do the following:

  • place several chairs around the room at different distances from each other;
  • take a ball of thick thread or a long rope;
  • tie one end of the thread to the leg of one of the chairs;
  • stretch a thread or rope from one piece of furniture to another, securing it at different heights in any order;
  • the second end of the rope must also be attached.

As a result of such manipulations, you should get a kind of “obstacle course”, reminiscent of a network of light rays.

Participants, being on one side of the room, must move to a free part of the room. Whoever gets out the fastest wins. Is it worth mentioning that you can’t touch the “laser beams”?

Bottle as a trap

In order to cope with the task of making a mousetrap with your own hands from a bottle, you will need the container itself, food, and also a small piece of rope.

Assembling the mousetrap:

  • Cut the neck of the bottle so that the mouse can get inside without any problems.
  • Punch a hole not far from the cut (just a few centimeters is enough). The rope must be pulled through this hole and secured.
  • The second end of the rope should be tied to the table.
  • The bait must be placed at the bottom of the bottle on the table so that part hangs over the edge of the table. Everything is ready for rodents!

The principle of operation of a mousetrap is as follows: when the mouse is tempted by the bait, the bottle will tip over and the rodent will be inside.

How Auntie Scared Thieves

Of course, in peacetime, variations on the theme “How to make a trap for a person” are usually sought in order to protect one’s home from the invasion of uninvited guests. Our people are cunning, they invent such methods that you are simply amazed.

For example, one of the townspeople made a large rag doll, dressed it in her old robe, and put a wig on her head. Before leaving for the dacha, the woman hangs this mannequin in the corridor in front of the front door. Any thief, having climbed into a house and seen such a picture, will forget about the purpose of his “visit” and retreat. Well, okay! After all, the main thing is to protect your property, and not to catch the villain.

Special means, or How to make a trap for a person

To protect apartments, garages and summer cottages, manufacturers produce quite effective, but at the same time safe and inexpensive devices.

Devices for passive security can be camouflaged as small objects or simply hidden in a room. Chemical aerosol traps contain special indelible substances:

  • luminescent spots on the face or clothing of the robber are visible even in the dark;
  • coloring powders cannot be washed off for 5 days, which will allow you to quickly find the intruder (works great if the uninvited visitor is from a familiar environment);
  • A service dog can easily find a thief based on their scent marks.

A magnetic siren, triggered when the doors are opened, will scare away the uninvited “guest”. A tear gas tripwire installed on the front door will incapacitate an unlucky thief in a couple of seconds.

Some apartment owners, wanting to protect themselves from robbery, leave poisoned alcohol on the table, others set traps for people. Those who are especially “caring” can connect an electric current to the door handle or place boards with nails under the window sills.

Such barbaric defense measures could result in the attacker's death or serious injury. Effective, to be sure, but... It is important to remember that, in accordance with the law, such actions are considered intentional harm to health. Even if the owner of the house resorts to them for protection, he may face criminal penalties.

A trap on your home street, or About safety precautions and inattention

How to make a trap for a person on the street? It is not always necessary to deliberately dig holes, insert stakes or set snares. An open sewer manhole and an unfenced trench, a construction pit and a well with boiling water from a heating main can become a deadly trap on the streets of a modern city.

If there is construction going on near your home, you must supervise children and teenagers. After all, they are so interested in being in the “excavation” territory, and games in such a place often end in failure: spinal injuries, fractures and concussions.

To avoid falling into an open well, you need to carefully watch your step when moving on the sidewalks. Of course, builders and repairmen must install fences and warning signs when working on potentially hazardous sites. However, to maintain your own health, you need to take care of yourself.

Traps are designed not only to catch various living creatures, but also for protection. For example, if a thief comes to your summer cottage or apartment, he can easily fall into the trap that you set for him.

Content:

Remember that in the forest you can find traps set for animals. However, if the trap is designed for a large animal, it will also harm you, so be careful.

In total, there are four types of traps that operate according to different principles - impact, suffocation, suspension and immobilization.

Remember that, for example, traps can immobilize or injure a person, so be careful when placing them. If you nevertheless decide to make a trap for a person, take care of its careful camouflage, since a person is more careful and cunning than animals.

Now we will tell you how to make a trap using available materials.

Safe trap for rodents and birds

Good day to all!
In today’s article I would like to show you a very interesting homemade product, namely, today we will look at how to make a safe trap that you can use to catch birds or mice without harming them. This homemade product is perfect for summer residents or owners of private houses who, for some reason, do not have a cat that could catch rodents.

And for those if you are afraid to use store-bought traps, which are very cruel to our smaller brothers. To make homemade products, as usual, the simplest and most available instruments and materials will be used. In general, let's not make a long introduction, let's go!

And so, for this trap we need:

- Large sheet of corrugated cardboard - Wooden ice cream sticks - Thick aluminum wire - Wooden skewers - Rubber bands.

We will also need the following tools:

— Hot-melt glue — Superglue — Pliers — Wire cutters — Stationery knife — Scissors — Ruler.

To begin with, from a sheet of corrugated cardboard we need to cut out the base for the trap, on which the homemade product itself will actually be built. The size of this base directly determines the size of the trap itself. Choose the size of the trap individually; it depends on where and who you want to catch.

After we have decided on the size of the base of the trap, we should make walls for this trap, to be more precise, not walls, but a frame for the walls. That is, from the same corrugated cardboard we should cut out frames, the length and width of which will coincide with the length and width of the cardboard base (this is the case if the cardboard base has 4 identical sides, that is, square). The thickness of the frame itself should be approximately 1-2 cm. And for now we should cut out 3 such frames. We glue the frames we just cut out of corrugated cardboard to the cardboard base, cut out at the beginning so that we end up with something similar to a cube (see photo).

Having assembled the box, that is, the frame of the trap, we proceed to assembling the main part of the structure - the trigger mechanism of the trap itself. To make the trigger we will need a lot of wooden ice cream sticks and a kebab skewer. First, two short sticks should be made into one larger length, which should be equal to the width of the trap frame. And since our trap has an exactly cubic shape and all its sides are equal, we should make another exactly the same long wooden stick from two short ones. The sticks should be connected to each other using superglue. In addition to these two sticks, we also need to cut out the following elements, namely: two identical sticks with obliquely cut ends and through holes on the opposite side; two identical “ears” with through holes; two identical pieces of kebab skewer, approximately 1 cm each; “L” shaped part connected from two sticks and with three through holes; detail in the form of a hook (see photo).

We assemble the mechanism from freshly prepared parts. We glue two long wooden sticks together so that we get a “T” shaped part. Glue two sticks with beveled cuts parallel to each other in the place indicated in the photo. We glue two ears to the junction of two long sticks in the same way, exactly parallel to each other. We insert the “L”-shaped part between two oblique sticks and secure it with a piece of kebab skewer so that the part can rotate around its axis without any problems. And we insert the hook in the same way, and inserted the “L” shaped part, we just push it between the “ears”. The entire trigger mechanism should be glued with superglue.

The next step is to take a thick aluminum wire and use it to connect the hook to the “L” shaped part as shown in the photo below (for more convenient and accurate bending of the wire, it is recommended to use pliers). Next, using hot glue, you should glue the trigger mechanism to the frame of the trap in the same way as shown in the photo.

After which we should make a foot when pressed, which would trigger the mechanism. To do this, we cut out two similar “ears” with holes from an ice cream stick, which we made earlier. We will also cut out a rectangle from a sheet of corrugated cardboard, the width of which would be approximately 10 cm, and the width a couple of centimeters less than the internal width of the trap. Glue the “ears” in the places indicated in the photo parallel to each other. And insert a wooden kebab skewer through the holes. And only then glue the newly cut rectangle to a wooden skewer using hot glue.
The next step is to glue an “ear” similar to what was done earlier to the newly glued cardboard rectangle. It should be glued exactly in the center of relatively short walls, and moved closer to the axis of rotation. It is best to glue with hot glue.

Then we will again need to take the same aluminum wire that we took earlier and connect the eye on the rectangle with the “L” shaped part on the mechanism. You should end up with a mechanism that works exactly the same as in the pictures.

After that, so that the caught creature cannot get out, walls should be made. The walls will be made in the form of a lattice. To do this, take wooden kebab skewers and push them through the longitudinal holes in the cardboard. You should end up looking something like the photo below.

The next step is to make the roof of the trap. There is nothing complicated here, we just take a sheet of thick corrugated cardboard and cut out a rectangle of sides, the sides of which should be equal to the base of the trap, which we cut out at the very beginning. Having cut out the roof, glue it to the top using hot glue.

Then we will make a door that will close if someone or something gets inside. To do this, repeat the steps in the step-by-step photos. As a result, it should turn out so that the mechanism can easily open and close.

We install rubber bands in the indicated places, folding them several times.

All is ready! All that remains is to test it. To do this, lift the door and hook the hook onto the crossbar of the door with your hand, throw something on the foot and the mechanism should slam the door. As a result, we came up with a rather interesting homemade product that will help you get rid of rodents in your home.

Here is a video from the author with detailed assembly and testing of this homemade product: Well, thank you all for your attention and good luck in future homemade projects! Source

The easiest trap in the room

Pull the thread between walls that are close to each other (for example, between the walls of a corridor).

Place the wooden block vertically so that the thread keeps it from falling.

Now take a spoon and place it where the block will fall after hitting the thread. Calculate everything so that the spoon flies up after the block falls.

Now you can put a small object, for example candy, on the opposite end of the spoon. After someone snags the thread, the end of the bar will hit the spoon, and the candy will fly towards the “offender”.

Trap for trouble: making a talisman with your own hands

If you are overcome by a series of failures, get rid of it. Use the most effective amulet, which, like a trap, will catch all your troubles and troubles, saving you from adversity and defeat.

Any amulet in itself has enormous strength and power against the forces of evil, black magic and witchcraft intervention. And the one that is made with your own hands only increases your magical abilities. If you are tired of constant bad luck, hurry up to make a real trap for yourself for trouble. The protective item will take away all the negative energy, cleansing your biofield, karma and home.

What is a Trouble Trap?

The trap for trouble is an ordinary mug. Just not the one from which you drink tea or coffee every day, but the one that has been lying around idle for a long time. Of course, such a cup exists in every home. Remember how, while sorting out kitchen cabinets or home service, you suddenly came across an unremarkable mug that had long since served its purpose. For some reason, it's always a shame to throw it away. This is because this particular mug can serve you well. She will become your personal catcher of troubles and adversity.

The older the mug, the better. There is no need to take away cups from family members, much less look for a mug on the shelves of your friends or in stores. It should be homemade, but completely useless. A mug, completely imbued with the mood and energy of your home, is what you need to create a powerful weapon to combat bad luck. It would be great if the handle of your future amulet is broken off. It turns out that this arms the object with useful energy.

Making a Trap for Trouble

Look in your household utensils for baking foil, a needle and, accordingly, that same mug. All you need is a positive attitude. Just think that soon all the troubles that separate you from a happy life will disappear forever.

First, wrap the cup completely and very tightly with foil, for example in four layers. Do not regret: let your trap work for glory and for your future success. Now you should find the top of the part - this should not cause problems. Make seven holes on top at equal distances from each other. This is done so that negative energy does not stagnate in the mug, but circulates freely and is filtered into positive energy. Otherwise, the trouble trap will catch all your problems and give them back to you.

Your trouble catcher is almost ready to deflect the blows of bad luck from you. There are a few touches left. More precisely, one is the activation of the amulet. For six months, the protective item will serve you faithfully, but then it will lose its magical abilities. It needs to be looked after: energetically cleaned and changed foil.

Activating the Trouble Trap

The ritual to activate your personal amulet is the key and final action. It is advisable to conduct it secretly, without spectators or witnesses. At the junction of two days, at midnight, regardless of the phase of the moon and a specific day, get ready to charge the trap mug with magical power.

It is best to perform the ritual in the light emanating from a candle flame. So, at exactly 00.00, place the cup on a hard surface. Raise both hands above your future amulet, as if warming them over a fire, not too far and not too close. Nothing should distract your attention. Read the following spell clearly:

“Troubles and adversities hang over me, there is nowhere to hide from them, they circle and circle above my head, and they will fall into a trap. They will fall to the bottom and will no longer ruin my life. My cup lived in my house for a long time. So do your last service for your mistress/master, drive away everything bad, everything evil from me. Here is my request, take it for yourself and fulfill it immediately. Let it be the way I want.”

After the conspiracy, you should put the cup in the kitchen set, preferably with other mugs. The main thing is that your trap, by accident or carelessness, is not broken by household members. Warn family members that the entire house is now protected by a powerful amulet. Let them be careful and not release troubles and adversity back by accidentally breaking the trap.

The Trouble Trap really works and drives all troubles away from your home, your loved ones and yourself. However, in order to take full advantage of the new prospects, it is important to attract good luck to yourself. Let bad luck no longer bother you, but success will not come by itself, so look for it and call for your help. We wish you a great mood and good luck. take care of yourself

How to make a human finger trap

This trap was invented a long time ago in Asia. The essence of its work is that both index fingers are inserted from different sides of the tube. After this, it is almost impossible to pull your fingers out of the trap, and the more effort you put into this, the tighter the trap tightens.

Making such a trap is not at all difficult.

In ancient times, the Chinese used bamboo for the base, then the trap was durable. We will use paper for this purpose.

Take two sheets of paper of different colors, then the craft will look nice. In addition, it will be easier to do.

Cut out four strips from paper - two from one color and two from another. Their thickness should be twelve millimeters, and the length of a standard sheet of A4 paper on the longer side.

Now glue them together to form corners. To do this, glue a strip of a different color to a strip of one color at an angle of ninety degrees. Do not overuse the amount of glue, otherwise the paper will get wet.

Trap five - useless hobbies

The further into the forest, the thicker the partisans. It would seem that what’s wrong with a hobby. But we are not talking about something positive, for example, about creative creativity, we are talking about completely useless things, like historical reconstructions. For those who don’t know: grown men and women dress up as some kind of knights and, like little children, shouting some kind of “yoke-go”, ride horses and wave swords. And this is not some kind of children’s war game, this is presented as almost a manifestation of passion for history and love for one’s homeland. However, this phenomenon has nothing to do with the study of history and patriotism. The only result of historical reconstruction is a lot of wasted money (do you think it’s cheap these days to be in the shoes of a soldier of the Preobrazhensky Regiment?) and wasted time.

Military man traps

Now let's look at more dangerous types of traps that are used even in war. Let's take the Vietnam War as an example.

In order to warn your own people and not forget about the mine yourself, the location of the trap was marked with different marks, examples of which are shown below. These same marks even indicate how far away the mine is.

The process of setting a trap.

The most popular and frequently used trap is the punji. The cost of its production is low, so this type of trap was very common during the war.

To make it, dig a small hole and cover it with a board into which you drive nails or place stakes. Place the board with the tips facing up and sprinkle it with leaves. Believe me, by stepping on such a board, a soldier can even pierce his foot.

This type of trap can be improved. The figure below shows everything clearly.

Punja board. It was placed where there was a narrow passage and carefully camouflaged. The basic principle of operation of such a trap is that the soldier falls into a dug hole and receives a blow to the chest and head with a board.

We will not describe traps that use any type of weapon, because it is unlikely that you will be able to get the necessary parts.

Fighting methods

They fight cockroaches with a variety of means, here are the main ones:

  • Chemical and folk remedies.
  • Freezing.
  • Electric repellers.
  • Traps.
  • Call the SES service.

An important condition is that the apartment is clean and there is no open food. It is its smell that mainly attracts these parasites. It is also recommended to carry out a thorough spring cleaning and empty the trash bin in a timely manner.

Important! In addition to dirt and the smell of food, cockroaches are attracted to moisture. Puddles left on the floor or table, a leaking faucet - parasites can come running to all this.

If any of this attracts pests, they will start looking for ways into the apartment. They can crawl through cracks in the floor, walls, ceiling and windows, then hide in secluded places: behind cabinets, upholstered furniture, under the sink, under peeling wallpaper. After cleaning the room and making the necessary preparations, you can begin processing.

How to make your own trap

The use of traps is no less common, as is the use of other means. You can usually buy them (they come in adhesive, electric, and poisonous varieties), but it's much less expensive to make your own.

Homemade traps can be made completely safe for households and pets using the most convenient of numerous recipes. Store-bought traps often have toxic odors that are harmful to the human body. DIY traps are no less effective.

From a plastic bottle

You can use a bottle to create a pest trap in minutes. To do this, take a bottle, cut it so that the bottom part is twice as long as the top. Place the bait in the bottom one and pour water, then cover it with the top one, turning it upside down, spreading the walls with fat or a fat-containing product. One of the disadvantages of such a trap is that the smell of the bait is prevented by the narrow opening of the plastic bottle, so it will not be very effective at attracting insects.

Method 3: homemade trap made with a knife and hands

To make this homemade trap, you will need your hands and a knife. You will also need fishing line or rope, preferably more reliable, and thin twigs with a diameter of 1-2 cm. Tie the twigs together in the form of a platform - this will be the closing part. Dig a hole in the ground with a depth that should be designed for the size of your expected prey. Moreover, this hole should be smaller in area than the “lid” structure you built. Place bird bait at the bottom of the hole and sprinkle as many grains around it as possible. On the contrary, your hunt will be fruitless. Cover the recess with a lid, leaving it half-open at an angle of about 45 degrees. After this, install a support from a twig to which a rope is tied. Your bird trap is ready. All you have to do is hide in an inconspicuous place and be patient while waiting for the birds. Once the bird is under the lid, pull the cord and the trap will slam shut. dough, for birds, suit

You can get rid of annoying insects without causing damage to human health using homemade traps. Structurally primitive, made from scrap materials, such devices will help eliminate insects no less effectively than industrial analogues of traps using ultrasound and pesticides.

You will need

  • - glass jar;
  • - plastic bottle;
  • – polyethylene;
  • – knife or scissors;
  • – thick paper of various colors;
  • – insect bait;
  • - old CDs.

Instructions

1. Good performance of any trap is ensured by well-chosen bait. In order to get rid of annoying midges or fruit flies hovering over fruit, you will need a small piece of an overripe banana, peach or other fruit with an intense, sugary aroma. A piece of fruit is placed at the bottom of the jar, the neck is covered with plastic wrap and small holes are made in it, the size of which will allow midges to penetrate inside. The trap is left overnight or for several hours, after which a wider hole is made in the film, water is poured through it and it is thrown out together with the caught flies. 2. A trap for insects larger than Drosophila works on the same thesis of attracting with a sugary smell. A jar or glass is filled approximately one third with syrup or jam, a sheet of thick paper is rolled into a cone and placed in the container so that the sharp end of the cone does not touch the sugary bait. The insects fall into the trap through the cone and get stuck in the sticky liquid. 3. A trap for blood-sucking insects can be made from a plastic bottle. To do this, cut the bottle into two parts, add a teaspoon of yeast, 100 g of sugar to its bottom and pour a glass of warm water, after which the mixture is thoroughly mixed. The vessel is wrapped in a dark cloth or covered with dark-colored paper and the remaining trimmed part of the bottle is inserted into it, neck down. During the fermentation process, yeast releases carbon dioxide, which imitates human respiration, which attracts the attention of many insects. The trap is placed in the corner of the room or on the windowsill, once every 10-14 days its contents are poured out, rinsed and fresh bait is poured in. 4. As a large number of insects adhere, the disk is removed and replaced with another one. 5. For flightless insects, a trap made from a primitive glass jar will be effective. The jar is wrapped in paper to make it easier for insects to get to the neck of the vessel. A strong-smelling bait is placed on the bottom: smoked meats, cheese, etc. The inner walls of the trap are lubricated with something thick or oily: vegetable oil, Vaseline - this will prevent insects from getting out of the jar. 6. You can get rid of garden insects: aphids, whiteflies, apple moths using simple sticky traps: a sticky composition is applied to plywood, boards, or sheets of clear yellow or red paper: honey, glue, a mixture of rosin with linseed oil and honey. . Traps are hung on trees and changed as needed. Helpful advice: It is best to place a trap in cramped areas of the river, camouflage it with algae, stones, branches and sand.

Another method is freezing. But it only works in winter. And then, only when it is possible to turn off the heating. Cockroaches flee or die from the cold. If it is cold enough, open all doors and windows and leave the apartment for at least half an hour. It is recommended to repeat the procedure several times every 5 days.
