Fufanon, EC (570 g/l) /5 ml/amp/ insecticide from set. pests

Fufanon is a universal, reliable drug, produced in the form of a yellowish emulsion concentrate. The chemical remains effective for 10-14 days after treatment.

It has a poisonous effect on pests in various ways:

  1. In direct contact with pests.
  2. When ingested by an insect along with food.
  3. Through the respiratory tract of insects during pollination of crops.

Fufanon

Instructions for use

Fufanon goes on sale in containers of various sizes, which allows you to purchase the required amount of concentrate for a single use.

There is no need to store supplies of the drug in damaged packaging. Methods for preparing the working solution vary depending on the plantings being treated.

Fufanon

For each type of container, it is advisable to use its own technology for using the concentrate:

Ampoule, bottle

The drug in ampoules and vials is contained in concentrated form. In order to use it, you need to prepare a working solution. For this:

  1. Take a container for non-food products with a volume of 1-2 liters.
  2. Pour the required amount of water and add fufanon. Prepare the concentration of the solution in accordance with the list below, depending on the type of plant and type of pest.
  3. Pour the working solution into a spray bottle or spray bottle.

Packaging in ampoules is carried out for the use of the concentrate on small volumes of plants at home, as well as when treating residential premises against bedbugs, mosquitoes and other insects.

In residential areas, observe the following safety precautions:

  1. Open the windows in the rooms where the treatment will be carried out (make sure that there is no draft and that a gust of wind does not blow the solution vapors onto dishes, people and pets).
  2. Move the furniture away from the walls to the middle of the room, remove carpets, tapestries, paintings from the walls, remove rugs, paths, and carpets from the room.
  3. Carry out particularly generous treatment in those places where bedbugs have been noticed. Then treat other areas of the room.
  4. Carefully treat areas that are difficult to reach for regular cleaning: heating radiators, spaces under baseboards (if the fastening design allows them to be removed).

After treatment, the active substance continues to act for another month, gradually losing its properties. The solution does not affect insect larvae. Therefore, at the end of the incubation period (10-14 days), repeat the treatment.

Disposable spray bottle

Fufanon in bottles equipped with a disposable spray bottle is supplied to the retail chain already in working concentration. It's comfortable. There is no need to dilute the concentrate, which reduces the risk of damage to the skin and mucous membranes.

As in the case of ampoules, the drug in spray bottles is intended for household use.

Containers from 500 ml to 5 l

Produced for use in dacha and garden farming. The drug is available in concentrated form. To prepare the working solution, follow the recommendations given above.

Pour the prepared solution into a garden sprayer, either pump or boom type. When spraying the solution, follow the necessary safety precautions.

Preparative forms

“Simple” smelly Fufanon is produced in the form of an EC emulsion concentrate with an active ingredient content of 570 g/l. Its danger class for humans and bees is the same: 3rd, which is explained by the strong smell that repels pollinators. The smell of the drug can remain in juicy fruits, even if the MRL (maximum permissible level) of malathion is observed in them, therefore “simple” Fufanon EC is used mainly on grains, industrial crops and against stock pests. In the garden and in the garden, “simple” Fufanon is applicable in hot, dry summers, provided that the degree of pest damage to plants is not higher than average.

Insectoacaricide Fufanon Nova

The drug Fufanon Nova has been developed for household plots in the form of an aqueous emulsion of VE with an active ingredient content of 440 g/l. Thanks to a specially selected isomer composition, this drug does not smell. Fufanon Nova is available in ampoules of 2 and 6.5 g, see fig. on the right, which is convenient for dosing the drug.

See the presentation video about Fufanon Nova below:

Video: about Fufanon Nova

However, due to the lack of odor, the hazard class of Fufanon Nova for bees became 1st and its use during the flowering period of honey plants is strictly prohibited. The ban is not only formal: some of the affected bees manage to return to base before they die. An average beekeeper can determine from the dance of the bees the direction of summer and the distance to the bribe site, and he will have every reason to charge the careless gardener the cost of the lost apiary + compensation for losses + moral damages.

Note: the registration period for Fufanon drugs in the Russian Federation expires in the period from 2024 to 2027 and, most likely, will be extended.

Super or Nova?

Fufanon preparations for bedbugs, cockroaches, mosquitoes and ants

Fufanon Super is also available for sale, but you need to look for it not in agricultural stores, but in ordinary hardware stores: Fufanon Super is a remedy for synatropic insects - parasites, bloodsuckers and parasites. The composition and absolutely all properties of Fufanon Super are identical to Fufanon Nova. This is the same drug in different packaging: without a catchy verbal additive in ampoules of 5 ml, or in bottles from 200 ml to 1 l, see fig. on right. There is only one difference: Fufanon Super is not an agricultural product and is not certified as an agrochemical product.

Note: the hazard class of all Fufanon preparations for fish and aquatic organisms is 1st (deadly).

Is Super to blame?

The dosages of the Fufanon Super insecticide are indicated on the packaging and its insert, but since this is not an agricultural drug, but a household one, they are not instructions for use, but a warning as a safety measure. Hence the complaints: I sprayed Fufanon (imidacloprid, Aktara, Actellik, Inta-Vir, etc.), and they only became more numerous.

The fact is that synatropic insects are organizationally, so to speak, much higher than plant pests. In colonies, for example, aphid hierarchy is not expressed. And communities of synatropic insects (except, perhaps, mosquitoes) represent all stages of complexity of their structure up to “superorganisms” - anthills. Therefore, household insecticides of the “spray and forget” principle are in principle impossible. To defeat unwanted cohabitants, you need to know their habits very well, identify their nesting places, communication and migration routes, and, based on specific local conditions, develop tactics and strategies for destruction. An almost complete analogy: the dosage and consumption rates of the drug here are something like a fighter’s personal weapon, and you, or a professional exterminator, act as a military leader. Rules of application

The most common area of application of the drug is the treatment of agricultural plantings.

Follow the recommendations:

  1. You need to start processing without waiting for the beginning of a high population of plantings.
  2. The interval between the end of treatment and the beginning of natural precipitation should be at least 2 hours.
  3. In hot weather, it is better to carry out treatment either early in the morning or late in the evening.
  4. To ensure good plant protection, use enough liquid to completely wet the leaf surface.
  5. Both portable boom and ground fan sprayers are suitable for processing.

Frequent use of the drug on the same plantings can lead to habituation of insects and a decrease in the effectiveness of the effect. To prevent this from happening, alternate the use of this drug with insecticides of other chemical groups.

A good effect is obtained by preparing a tank mixture with other insecticides. Before use, check medications for compatibility.

Fufanon is not recommended to be mixed with:

  1. Solutions containing copper.
  2. Alkaline compounds containing calcium.
  3. Preparations containing sulfur.
  4. Mineral fertilizers containing sulfides.
  5. Oils and preparations that have an alkaline reaction.

The drug should be stored at a temperature from -50 to +250 in a tightly closed container in a well-ventilated, dry room, out of reach of children.

Pour water into a small container and add 1 ml of the drugs from which you want to prepare a barrel mixture. If flakes form in the solution, or a precipitate begins to form, then the drugs cannot be mixed.

We fight bedbugs correctly

It is necessary to begin treating premises with Fufanon against bedbugs and other pests by first studying the instructions, which contain special information on the preparation of a working water emulsion.

Bed bugs

The package should be opened, the required amount of the drug should be poured into a non-food container and diluted with water at room temperature to obtain 1 liter of solution:

  • to get rid of bedbugs, fleas and ants, the product should be diluted at the rate of 1.5-3.5 ml per 1 liter of water, depending on the degree of infestation;
  • against various types of flies and cockroaches, the product is diluted at the rate of 9 and 11 ml per 1 liter of water, respectively.
  • when using the liquid form of the drug in ampoules, the method changes slightly: the contents of one ampoule (5 ml) are diluted in 5 liters of water.

The consumption rate of the working (that is, already diluted) emulsion is 100 ml per 1 square meter of room when treating against flies and cockroaches and 50 ml per 1 square meter when treating against bed bugs, fleas and ants.

For convenience, it is recommended to apply the product using a sprayer or a soft paint brush as follows:

  • The premises are carefully processed around the perimeter - along the surface of the walls, along the baseboards and borders (the furniture is moved aside), as well as in all hard-to-reach places.
  • Bedbugs hide well, so it is important to pay special attention to cracks in walls and floor coverings, places where wallpaper is coming off the walls, ventilation grilles and objects with their backs facing the walls (carpets, frames, paintings, etc.).
  • Furniture is processed from the bottom side, closer to the floor. If there is a need to treat clothing, upholstery and pillows, they should subsequently be washed well at high temperatures or taken to dry cleaning.
  • When treating an apartment or house in winter, household items can be taken out onto the balcony or into the yard - bedbugs do not survive at temperatures below minus 22°C.

When Fufanon is used correctly, bedbugs go away after the first thorough treatment, but the death of the entire population occurs no earlier than after 3-4 days. In case of severe infestation, the premises are treated repeatedly at intervals of two weeks - this is the average incubation period for bedbug eggs.

Bedbug eggs

In addition, control methods should be alternated and treated in the most thorough manner: if at least a few insect larvae or eggs remain, the entire population of bed bugs will be restored as soon as possible, and new individuals will develop resistance to Fufanon.

Flow and concentration

It is important to observe the drug consumption rates to prevent phytotoxicosis in protected crops.

Manufacturer's recommended consumption rates for working fluid for various types of plants, premises and seeds:

  1. Cereals, corn, peas - 0.5-1.2 l/ha.
  2. Sugar beet – 1-1.2 l/ha.
  3. Flax - 0.4-0.8 l/ha.
  4. Apple, pear, quince, cherry, sweet cherry, plum, non-bearing orchards - 1 l/ha.
  5. Currants, gooseberries, raspberries - 1-2.6 l/ha.
  6. Strawberries, tobacco, shag - 1-1.8 l/ha.
  7. Grapes – 1 l/ha.
  8. Cabbage, open ground cucumbers, open ground tomatoes – 0.6-1.2 l/ha.
  9. Cucumbers in protected soil, tomatoes in protected soil – 2.4-3.6 l/ha.
  10. Melon, watermelon – 0.4 l/ha.
  11. Alfalfa, clover, sainfoin – 0.2-0.6 l/ha.
  12. Pastures, areas inhabited by locusts, wild vegetation – 2-3 l/ha.
  13. Sea buckthorn 0.6-1.2 l/100 l of water.
  14. Unloaded warehouses and equipment of grain processing enterprises – 0.8 ml/m2.
  15. Food grain, fodder and legume seeds 12-30 ml/t.
  16. Flour, cereals in bags – 0.6 ml/m2.

Be more careful when preparing the working solution. Purchase measuring containers from a specialized store. Use them only for preparing protective solutions.

Fufanon

Using the drug "Fufanon-nova" against aphids

Perennial shrubs and trees must be protected from insect pests, but it is equally important to provide good conditions for the growth and development of annual fruit plants.

  • Tomatoes need to be processed regardless of whether they grow in open or closed ground. For aphids, whiteflies and spider mites, they need to be treated during the active growing season at the rate of 1-3 liters per 10 m2.
  • The norm for cabbage is a liter of working fluid per 10 m2. This is the optimal dosage, which is recommended in the instructions for use. Many gardeners and gardeners consider Fufanon-nova the best remedy for fighting aphids and bedbugs, flies, moths and cutworms.

Security measures

Fufanon is of little danger to humans. Belongs to hazard class 3. Highly dangerous for bees. Has hazard class 1.

Mechanized work cannot be carried out on the treated area for 4 days after treatment, manual work must not be carried out for 10 days:

  1. In residential, warehouse and utility rooms, carry out work with open windows or ensure the supply of fresh air in any other way.
  2. You need to work with the solution using all personal protective equipment: overalls, goggles, gloves, respirator;
  3. When spraying, stand on the windward side.
  4. In case of strong and gusty wind, stop work.
  5. After work, rinse protective equipment thoroughly with water.
  6. Dispose of solution containers in accordance with the instructions on the packaging. Do not dispose of in unauthorized landfills or garbage dumps.

Advice: If you are highly susceptible to allergies, consult your doctor before using fufanon.

Advice: Before treating plants with the drug near the pool, take measures to ensure that it does not get into the water: remove the temporary pool, cover the stationary one with film.

Advice: Take special care to protect the decorative fish pond from contact with the drug. When the maximum concentration is reached, it can cause their death.

Fufanon

Fufanon: chemical composition and properties

The insecticide Fufanon was developed in Denmark.

Chemical composition: colorless oily liquid, poorly soluble in water, belongs to dithiophosphoric acid derivatives, that is, the main active ingredient is an organophosphorus compound. The boiling point of the substance is 156–157°C; it begins to melt at 2.8–3.7°C.

This drug is not an innovative development, since the Fufanon trademark is a well-known active substance Malathion, which, in turn, is a less toxic and higher quality analogue of Karbofos, which has long been successfully used in agriculture and in sanitary treatment of premises.

Toxicity: moderately toxic to humans and animals, has a hazard class of 3.

Release form: concentrate in the form of a 57% or 44% aqueous emulsion (Novaktion).

Main scope of application: destruction of black and red cockroaches, fleas, bed bugs, flies, cereal aphids on winter rye and wheat during the growing season. The product also helps control pests on garden crops.

Affordable price, low consumption and a wide spectrum of action allow Fufanon to be used against bedbugs and other synanthropic insects, achieving an almost instant effect.

First aid

Although fufanon belongs to substances of hazard class 3, this chemical nevertheless poses a danger to human health if the operating rules are violated.

Be alert at the first signs of poisoning, such as:

  1. The appearance of an unpleasant taste in the mouth,
  2. Nausea,
  3. Increased salivation
  4. Vomit

Fufanon

Call a doctor. Before the doctor arrives, provide first aid to the victim:

  1. If the solution enters the body through the gastrointestinal tract or lungs, take the victim to fresh air, remove protective equipment, change clothes and prepare a two percent soda solution for rinsing the mouth.
  2. In case of contact with eyes, rinse them with plenty of running water, being careful to keep them open. In case of severe irritation of the eye mucosa, instill a 30% solution of sodium sulfate.
  3. If it gets on exposed skin, remove it without rubbing the solution with cotton wool or a soft cloth. Then wash with water and soapy water.
  4. Atropine is used as an antidote.

Action of Fufanon

The active component penetrates the insect body through the contact-intestinal route. The maximum effectiveness of Fufanon is observed during the first 2 hours. Gradually absorbed by plant tissues, prolongs the protective, poisonous properties for 7 days. Continues to kill pests in the soil for up to 10 days.

Once ingested by an insect, it disrupts the functioning of the central nervous system and blocks the transmission of impulses. Muscle paralysis and death occur. All this happens in a matter of minutes. Already 60 minutes after spraying the crops, an entire colony of parasites dies.

Malathion is afraid of high humidity and bright sun, so the time for processing crops should be chosen early in the morning or late in the evening in dry weather. Heavy rains significantly reduce the effectiveness of Fufanon. If precipitation occurs within 2 hours after treatment, the procedure should be repeated after 1-2 days.

Modern insecticide is safe when used correctly. In general, the drug is poisonous to any insects. You should not treat plants during or shortly before flowering, since bees, wasps, bumblebees and other insects involved in pollinating flowers will die. This will significantly reduce productivity in the future. You should not spray fruit, berry, and vegetable crops 20 days before harvest to avoid toxic substances entering the human body.

Reviews about the drug

  1. Asmolov Igor Vasilievich, gardener: “In the spring, before the active release of plant mass, I cultivate the entire garden. I especially carefully treat those plants on which the largest number of parasites were noticed last year. I process fruit bushes, for example, raspberries, first so that the fufanon has time to decompose before the fruit begins to appear. I use 115 ml of undiluted product for the entire garden.”
  2. Marina Bormotova, amateur florist: “Several years ago, my husband and I bought our own apartment. I, as a young housewife, began to create comfort in my new home - I began to grow flowers. Everything was going well until I purchased a gerbera at the local market. The flower withered after two weeks. But the worst began later. The rest of my flowers also began to become covered with strange yellow spots and wither. A neighbor advised treating it with Fufanon. I had to tinker, of course, but the result was worth the effort. Diseased leaves had to be cut off. But the new shoots are already completely clean.”
  3. Alexey from Tolyatti: “I re-read the entire forum. I have never seen any mention of such a drug as fufanon. I have been using it for many years in my garden. Now I had to spray the house too. This is the Danish analogue of karbofos. It has no effect on plants. In any case, I did not notice any side effects. But the pests die in herds. However, it doesn’t work on ants.”
  4. Natik, Yakutsk: “I tried many drugs. I settled on fufanon. The smell, however, is strong and not very pleasant. But I got used to using it together with green soap - it eliminates the smell, and the foam from the soap better envelops the plants. In the spring I process the seedlings that are on the balcony. There used to be hordes of ticks. She waged war on all fronts. Now everything has been clean for three years.”

Brief overview of prices for Fufanon (Malathion)

Like any other insecticide, this product has different types:

  • Fufanon protective agent in 5 ml ampoules from, price from 8 to 10 rubles per pack. As mentioned above, the spectrum of action of the drug is similar to the well-known Karbofos, while the liquid form in ampoules is very convenient when dissolved and is successfully used against a huge number of garden pests: spider mites, bedbugs, aphids, various varieties of flies and other insects.
  • Insecticide Fufanon, 5 liter canister. Retail price for 5 liters – from 3000 rubles. This is a highly effective concentrate against bedbugs, cockroaches and other insects.
  • Fufanon Super, 1 liter bottle. Price 710 rubles. The product is a white or light yellow aqueous emulsion with a slight specific odor. It has a very wide spectrum of action and effectively fights synanthropic insects: cockroaches, flies, bed bugs, fleas, etc.
  • Fufanon Super Taran from, microencapsulated product in 50, 100 ml bottles, as well as an aqueous emulsion in 1-5 liter canisters. The price of the drug ranges from 500 to 5000 rubles, depending on the volume of the container. This product is widely used on farms and agricultural enterprises to treat large areas against insects of various types. The microencapsulated concentrate is odorless, but has no less powerful effects than its liquid counterparts.

Fufanon bedbug repellent can be purchased in specialized hypermarkets, stores and online stores that sell household chemicals, as well as fertilizers and preparations for protecting your home and garden plots from insect infestations. In addition, Malathion can be easily purchased from professional pest control services, since this is the main “working” product of most such companies.

Well, let's summarize what has been said. Fufanon is an affordable and highly effective remedy against bedbugs and other insects. However, when fighting pests on your own, you should remember the toxicity of the active substance of the drug, do not neglect precautions and use personal protective equipment as prescribed in the instructions.

Only competent and especially careful treatment of premises will help get rid of bedbugs and other unwanted “guests” forever.

Is karbofos effective against bedbugs?

Reviews

Dear readers! You can leave your feedback on the use of the drug Fufanon against insects, when and what to treat, in the comments below, they will be useful to other users!

Elena : “Fufanon is the same Karbofos, but only foreign. Just as dangerous to health, the environment, smelling terribly. It should be used only in rare cases. It kills all living things, bees fall on the fly, and for some reason it only doesn’t take ants. I never use it on fruit trees and berries, and I don’t recommend it to others.”

Inna : “I mix Fufanon with green soap. Efficiency increases, the smell is not so pungent. I process seedlings and flowers in early spring. No infection appears later. No more dangerous than Aktellik, to which everyone has long been accustomed.”

Characteristics of the drug

A wide range of effects allows the drug to destroy bedbugs over large areas in the shortest possible time.
It is often used by employees of special services who process apartments, basements and factories. The developer of the product is a Danish company. It is produced in the form of an oily liquid substance. The main active ingredient is malathion, which is quite safe for humans. As soon as the poison enters the body of the parasite, it is converted into a substance that is more toxic. Penetration into the insect occurs in an instant, and the action is similar to the action of a nerve poison that blocks the nervous system, leading to the death of the insect. Humans and pets are not susceptible to the toxic components of Fufanon.

One of the undeniable advantages of the drug is its prolonged action, lasting for a couple of weeks. Thanks to this, one treatment not only destroys a colony of bedbugs, but also gets rid of the subsequent generation of parasites. Accordingly, there is no generation change, and the apartment is no longer infested with insects.

“Fufanon” for bedbugs is sold in the form of ampoules or bottles of 5 and 10 ml, respectively. To treat a large area, you may need a canister of chemicals, produced by the manufacturer in volumes of 1 and 5 liters.

The cost of the insecticide is affordable for everyone. An ampoule costs about 10 rubles, and a liter of chemical preparation costs 500 rubles. It is better to purchase Fufanon from a direct supplier or a specialized store.

There are two types of the drug: Fufanon Nova and Fufanon Super . The difference lies in the concentration of the active component.

Varieties

On the shelves of supermarkets, garden centers and household chemical stores you can find two varieties of the insecticide under discussion: Fufanon-Nova and Fufanon-Super. The main difference lies in the percentage of the active substance, and, consequently, in the purpose of the poison. The table will tell you how much malathion this or that form of Fufanon contains, and what it is used for.

Table - Varieties of Fufanon

Variety Malathion concentration, % Area of application

"Fufanon-Nova"44Crop processing
"Fufanon-Super"57Household pest control

The main vector of use of the product “Fufanon-Super” - household disinfestation - is due to the presence of additional ingredients in the composition. They are safe for warm-blooded creatures, but at the same time prolong the residual effect of the main poison. "Fufanon-Nova" can also be used against bed bugs by reducing the dose of water indicated on the package when preparing the solution.

Operating principle

“Fufanon” has a third degree of toxicity (for comparison: drugs with a fourth degree are considered the most harmless to humans and domestic animals). However, the product kills synanthropic insects quickly and without delay. The liquidation algorithm is approximately as follows:

  • contact - “Fufanon” is deadly only for those insects that come into contact with it;
  • transformation - penetrating into the body of the bug, the main substance is converted into malaoxon;
  • paralysis - malaoxon paralyzes the insect, preventing the conduction of nerve impulses;
  • death - after a short period of time, the bloodsucker dies.

The drug even kills the eggs and larvae of parasites. The poison penetrates the shell, destroying it, making further development of the insect impossible.

Packaging

Treatment with this drug has an undeniable advantage - a prolonged effect, which popular analogues lack. The poison continues to “work” even two weeks after spraying. The larvae, which miraculously managed to survive, freed from the shackles of the shell, will instantly receive their portion of the poison. The available packages of the drug and their approximate cost are shown in the table.

Table - Packaging of "Fufanon" and approximate price

Packaging Volume, ml Approximate cost, rubles (data as of January 2021)

Ampoule510
Bottle10500
Canister— 1000; — 5000700

Advantages

The main disadvantage of the chemical is the unpleasant odor, which partially remains in the apartment and only dissipates over time. Plus - high efficiency, allowing you to eliminate a horde of small invaders with just one treatment. But this advantage is not the only one, there are others.

  • Not addictive. The special formula of the drug does not cause resistance in bedbugs, cockroaches and other pests. Even repeated use of poison on the same area will have a high effect. Insects will not be able to develop immunity to the drug and mutate, and therefore will always be susceptible to its fatal effects.
  • Has a fumigation effect. Evaporating, “Fufanon” penetrates even the most inaccessible places. It serves as additional protection for indoor plants, and for a long time remains a kind of “repellent”, forcing bedbugs and other evil spirits to avoid your home.
  • Not affected by temperatures. Unlike its analogues, the Danish development is indifferent to temperature fluctuations. The product remains equally effective in both heat and cold.
  • Can be combined with other insecticides. Specialists who know a lot about agricultural poisons can easily combine Fufanon with other poisonous “brothers” in order to increase the effectiveness of the product in specific conditions.

Fufanon is not recommended to be combined with insecticides containing copper, sulfides or sulfur.
